Why gratitude is the most powerful tool that you can possess when it comes to creating your reality.

Could it be so simple that the simple process of giving thanks is all that we really need to do to supercharge the process of manifesting anything that we want. I think that the answer to that is yes, and here’s why.

Ever since “The Secret” came out the ‘Law Of Attraction’ has come to the attention of millions of people that never before knew of this universal law. Thought become things, wow really? We would all love to accept this as being true, and of course it is, but the flaw with the way that this has been brought to light is that we were never really shown how to turn this not so new revelation into a practical application. As a result the majority of people who have grasped an awareness have been unable to use it to practical application.

The truth is that yes, thoughts do become things but in reality it is the way that we think that really determines the outcome for us. Manifesting things is a skill and it is developed in the same way as we develop our muscles when we go to the gym. We have to put in the work. There are number of highly practical exercises that can be done to develop this muscle and create the perfect state of mind for this to happen but today I would like to talk about just one, and that is Gratitude. I personally think that this is one of the most powerful things that we can do we it come to manifesting and I will tell you the reasons why.

1: we cannot think one thing and feel another

One of the most common problems is that we are always thinking about what we don’t want, while know what we don’t want is great because it shows us what we do want, it puts us in a place of lack , scarcity and negativity. Wen we feel grateful for something we create a feeling of wealth, contentness, happiness, a feeling of already having, of positivity

2: We begin to feel as though we are already rich

I’m so happy that I have good friends and family, I’m so grateful that is apples tastes amazing, I’m so grateful for this glass of water that hydrates me, the warm and shelter that my house provides, this cup of coffee, etc, etc, etc. When you start to put your mind to this the number of things that you can be grateful for is endless while all the time training the muscle to be in a positive attracting state.

3: We create a future state

Remember you attract what you are not what you want. When we think about all the reasons why we are already surrounded with abundance we put ourselves into a state of abundance and while we are feeling that way it is super easy to project the though of what we want to manifest over the top of that feeling of abundance that already belongs to you.

4: Appreciate the little things

You will begin to appreciate the little things in your life that add up, and you’ll come to the realisation that you are already incredibly rich. This can become a really fun mindfulness exercise. When you to get into this and start playing with it life can become a constant stream of enjoying these moments that you can find a reason to be thankful for. When you find yourself enjoying yourself and appreciating things more you are in an optimum state for projecting powerful manifesting thoughts.

5: Focus on what you have now

By focusing on what you have and how good you feel about it you stop thinking about all the things that you don’t want, and those thoughts begin to fade. We when actively look for the good in any situation the old negativity that used to grip your attention will soon be gone.

6: We are all already rich!

Lets just acknowledge that!

If you are reading this then you are in the top 1% of the worlds wealthiest people. So lets all just realise that give some thanks because there are millions of people that live in true hardship and poverty.

7: It brings us into the moment

When we focus on what we are grateful for now we anchor ourselves in this moment, we become present. We are not thinking about a conversation from yesterday or what is going to happen tomorrow. We can start to live life for what it is: a series of endless moments right now, let what will happen tomorrow wait until tomorrow, there’s now need to worry about that now, in fact any worry will only bring more of what it is that worries you.

In summary this is a super easy, super powerful way to create an ideal state of positivity in your mind that will provide incredibly fertile soil for the seeds of your thoughts to grow. Give this a go and play with it, after practicing this for a short period of time I have experienced unimaginable improvements in all areas of my life and I now understand why it is so important to practice this exercise on a daily basis.
